Drug Overdose in Ohio
The Ohio Department of Health website’s section on drug overdose includes the 2018 Ohio Drug Overdose Report and other statewide mortality data. Other resources include background information on fentanyl and a summary of Ohio’s current initiatives and strategies to combat the overdose epidemic.
OARRS Reports
Prescribers can access annual summaries of opioid prescriptions, based on data from the Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System (OARRS). The website also includes data on the number of doses of controlled substances that were prescribed in Ohio, broken down by county and month.
